daily routine. And the exercises and games suggested are fun and easy to do too. Although Alzheimers is the most well-known form of dementia, only 1 in 20 Britons aged over 65 actually have Alzheimers. Age-Associated Memory Impairment (AAMI) is much more widespread and rather than living in fear of a more serious disease that will probably not affect you, you should do what you can to protect and preserve your memory from AAMI.

I recently bumped into a friend who is just completing an intensive course in psychotherapy and that involves studying the mind and memory. I mentioned that I was looking for information on simple ways to improve my memory, without complicated software and in-depth courses, which is all that seems to be available at the moment. Exercise your brain and memory with great games and puzzles that are mostly free or very low-cost. Have fun and improve your memory at the same time!

Youll be really impressed with all the extra things you can remember, be they names, faces, phone numbers, dates, or perhaps facts and figures that you need in your working life...the list goes on and on. The better your memory, the better youll work and the better youll feel. You could even lose a little weight too, like I did! Become more observant - doesn't it just make you mad when you're asked to recall a situation and you can't quite remember, but know there was something you thought was strange, or interesting that you should be able to mention now, but can't
